What if the questions you’ve been carrying are not signs of weakness—but invitations?
The Invitation follows a young couple whose search for purpose and direction leads them to a quiet mountain cabin—and a way of walking with God that changes everything. Through simple mentoring, Scripture, and unhurried conversation, they discover that the answers to life’s deepest questions are not distant or complicated, but formed through a close, daily relationship with God.
This story introduces The Mountain Mentor Path—a faith-centered journey of formation that invites you to slow down, draw closer, and begin building a life of clarity, strength, and purpose.
This is more than a book.
It’s the beginning of a path.

Paul Chavoustie’s story is not one of avoiding hard paths—but of walking through them with faith.
Before leadership, awards, or influence, Paul was a young man searching for purpose. He chased knowledge, success, and answers, yet still felt empty. A providential encounter in the Colorado mountains introduced him to discipleship and a life grounded in faith—one that would shape the next thirty years.
That foundation led and prepared Paul for the demanding seasons of leadership and service. As a CEO, Mayor, multiple business owner, and advisor, he helped rebuild communities after crisis, guide business turnarounds, contribute to more than $120 million in economic development, and restore neglected places into thriving destinations.
Alongside his wife of 27 years, Paul raised four children, adopted two from Russia, co-founded a global Bible college, and founded an orphanage and school in Kenya.
Rise Again and The Mountain Mentor are born from this journey—written for those who have hit walls, felt weary, yet still sense God’s calling to live with purpose, courage, and obedience.
Paul's mission is to help others through books, mentoring, and teachings, so they may live empowered lives fulfilling their callings.

“This wasn’t about fixing my life—it was about aligning it.”
I had faith, but I didn’t feel grounded in my calling. Paul’s mentorship helped me slow down, listen more carefully, and realign my life with what I believe I was created for.
There was no hype—just wisdom, perspective, and steady guidance. I left with clarity and a deeper confidence in where I’m headed.

“This wasn’t coaching—it was wise counsel at the right moment.”
I was navigating a season of transition and carrying decisions that felt heavier than usual. Paul provided a steady, faith-anchored presence that allowed me to think clearly again.
His counsel helped me reconnect my leadership with my values and faith without turning the process into something performative or emotional. I emerged with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of calling for my life.

I wasn't looking for a faith based approach to success but I knew I needed help. The foundational truths of faith really makes sense to me now and I can't imagine living a fulfilling life without it. Paul's group coaching and one on one personal input have helped me see who I was created to be and now I'm beginning to accomplish things I didn't think possible.

“Paul brings a rare combination of faith, experience, and discernment.”
I’ve worked with a lot of leaders and mentors over the years. What stood out about Paul was his calm presence and the depth of his perspective.
He helped me think more clearly about leadership, responsibility, and how to handle the season that I’m in. I didn’t just gain insight—I gained renewal.
